Acapulco Gold originated in Acapulco, Mexico, but no one seems to remember who first grew it or what parent strains were used. Acapulco Gold is pretty hard to find because it's difficult to grow indoors, but it's popular throughout the United States, especially in warmer climes. It's best used to treat anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, but it's also good for insomnia and headaches, as well as some mental disorders. This strain can be especially powerful, with THC levels as high as 24%. It has a distinct earthy flavor and aroma, with a taste of chestnut and tealeaves. As with most strains, the most likely adverse effects are dry eyes and dry mouth. Paranoia and dizziness are also possible but less common. Acapulco Gold is most popular in the Western United States, the Upper Midwest, and the desert Southwest. It often costs more than other strains because of its potency and the beautiful gold-tinged appearance of its bud.

Color, consistency, strength, taste and quality – all excellent. Acapulco Gold is my go-to strain, along with Cinderella 99. This Acapulco Gold shatter is consistenly a beautiful golden amber, smooth on the lungs and easy on the head – for $25 a gram, the high is just lovely. This strain, which I’ve also grown, is appropriately described as a 5-course dinner, and I find it’s awesome for daytime and evening. I love it for skiing, it’s great for music whether playing or listening – all around, a very comfortable and relaxing buzz with creativity and energy too.

This is a great find. $25 and a heavy dab. I’ve come back for this one on a few orders and I’m impressed with the consistency and overall flavour profiles. A nice cerebral buzz with lasting effects that don’t leave you too hazy on the comedown. A productive smoke and great for a quick daytime hit when you’re on the fly.

This product impressed me very much. It has a rich flavor and a potent effect. More of an energetic effect so its not recommended for before bed.
